Equity market returns for the past 10 years

This table shows equity market returns for the past 10 years as of 31 December 2018, in USD terms. The price returns of Hang Seng Index, MSCI AC Asia ex Japan Index, S&P 500 Index and MSCI AC World Index are 78%, 107%, 178% and 100% respectively. Meanwhile, the total returns of these indices are 152%, 168%, 243% and 161%, respectively. This demonstrates the snowball effect of dividend reinvestment.
