Transition of funds based on the European Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR)

    • At HSBC Asset Management, part of our fiduciary duty is to help our clients achieve their sustainability goals. This is why we see the implementation of the European Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR) as an opportunity to officially classify our sustainability products and further promote their sustainable features.
    • At the beginning of January, 17 of our existing HSBC Global Investment Funds (HGIF) have transitioned from Article 6 to Article 8 according to the latest SFDR requirements.
    • To see our full list of sustainable funds and how they meet the respective SFDR requirements, please visit the page ‘Sustainable Investment products’*. You may find the latest sustainability data of each fund on the factsheets made available at the fund centre.
    • We will continue to open up a world of sustainable investment opportunities for our clients through the development of innovative products. This will include products in different asset classes that meet the Article 8 and Article 9 requirements of SFDR. Any update in SFDR will be closely monitored and we will keep you informed on subsequent changes.
